Muscat of Samos OLYMPIO is a Greek natural sweet wine, renowned for its sweetness and mellowness and can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with dessert. It should be served very cold to appreciate its refined bouquet with aromas of dried fruits. Muscat OLYMPIO is a Vin Doux Naturel produced on the Greek island of Samos from a single grape variety, Muscat à Petits Grains, grown on narrow terraces and harvested by hand. The harvested grapes are pressed, macerated and fermentation. In order for the Muscat wine to retain the sugar in the grapes and when the must has reached a satisfactory density, fermentation is stopped by adding brandy during mutage.
