GRAPE VARIETY: 80% Pinot Noir, including around 15% red wine and rosé maceration from selected plots and 20% Chardonnay. COLOUR: Fairly pale salmon colour. PALATE: Fresh and gentle attack on the palate, beautiful balance and aromas of violet. Key aromas: raspberry, white fruits. NOSE: This rosé delights with its power, roundness and elegance. The first sweet and fruity impression of raspberry is enriched with aniseed notes. THE ESTATE AND THE WINE: Launched in 1846 by the brothers Jules and Auguste Devaux, Champagne DEVAUX now occupies an 18th century manor house, in the heart of a park bordered by the Seine. This place - an essential wine tourism stop on the Côte des Bar and a venue for cultural events - offers an educational trail throughout the year, where a rare 17th century dovecote is listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments.
