Origin/Terroir: Pinot noir from the Côte des Bar and Chardonnay from the Côte des Bar, Côte des Blancs and Vitry. Vinification/Aging: Alcoholic fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, and Malolactic fermentation. Aged in bottles for a minimum of 24 months. The wine: The nose recalls floral aromas associated with fruity notes such as peach and apricot. A palate, finesse and power are expressed in chorus. Delicious finish. Key aromas: ripe fruits, white peaches. The estate: To learn all about the origins of the new "Augusta" cuvée, we must go back to 1879. It was on this date that Augusta-Maria Herbin, wife of François-Auguste Devaux, became the second Veuve Devaux. This champagne is a tribute to the sixteen years during which Augusta brilliantly managed the House. His talent and legendary energy marked the history of Champagne Devaux and inspired this creation.
