GRAPE VARIETY: Grenache, Tibouren, Cinsault, Carignan, Syrah. COLOR: Vine peach-lychee, bright, clear. PALATE: A mouth revealing a good structure and a beautiful acidity on peach and apricot. Round and long wine in the mouth where we can find notes of English candy. Long and very enveloping finish on the rose. NOSE: Its intense, complex and explosive nose announces at first notes of peach-apricot, then bigarreau cherry, and is then enriched with nuances of raspberry and redcurrant. THE ESTATE AND THE WINE: Saint Martin became a wine priory of the monks of Lerins. In the 15th century, they built an exceptional underground cellar, a venerable sanctuary where the wines have matured tirelessly for centuries in vats dug into the rock, which gives them remarkable insulating properties. In 1740, the family of the current owner took over and built the castle in the 18th century.
