Barilla has been making the best Italian pasta for 140 years. The Tagliatelle Collezione are inspired by traditional Italian cuisine and contain all the flavor of best gastronomy. The story tells that the tagliatelle was inspired by the hair of Lucrèce Borgia and created by a skillful and poetic chef on the occasion of his marriage to Alfonse d'Este. Barilla reinvented this traditional model by particularly careful of the quality of the ingredients and the work of the paste sheet which must be both rough and porous and only a thickness of 2 millimeters.
